An unknown gunman shot dead a woman in South Sudan’s Lakes State on Wednesday, a local official said as confirmed by Radio Tamazuj.
According to the source, the occurrence happened at Kubur William in the Abiriu region, Lake States.
One of the official chief of the Abiriu region in the old Gok State, Machar Chol Daljang told Radio Tamazuj that the dead woman was a breastfeeding mother.
“The perished was called Amakou Majuong and we presume her executioner originates from the neighboring Agar people group in the dead Western Lakes State,” he guaranteed.
