Egyptian Amb. to S. Sudan urged oppositions to compromise on 10 states and its administration

The Egyptian Ambassador to South Sudan Mohamed Mansur Kadah urge the opposition party SPLM-IO to acknowledge the ten states in addition to the three administrative regions in light of a legitimate concern for the arrangement of the solidarity government.

Ambassador Mohamed Mansur Kadah disclosed to Eye Radio in a selective meeting that the gatherings should settle.

“Any areas where there are still reservations should be comprised on, there has to be comprised in the other outstanding issues for the interest of the people of South Sudan, this page has to turn,” said Kadah.

South Sudan President Salva Kiir last week on Saturday returned the nation to ten states, an issue which had been hindering the formation of the revitalized transitional national unity government.

President Kiir order to return the country to its normal 10 states and three administrative areas was however dismissed a few gatherings particularly the SPLM-IO members.

Dr. Riek Machar is now in Juba to talk about with President Salva Kiir a portion of the rest of the undertakings in the new harmony accord.

Kadah urged both South Sudan leaders for the arrangement of the solidarity government which should occur as planned due on 22 February 2020.
